BSI APPROVED MANUFACTURER
These European standards control the manufacture and testing of printed circuit boards.
To gain approval we document our product limits in a Capability Manual, manufacture and test a series of capability approval panels and report these results to the BSI.
After approval is granted we are then subject to a continuous program of in house testing and inspection on production boards and test panels followed up by twice yearly audits from the BSI. Every three years we are obliged to re-demonstrate our capability by producing test panels that demonstrate our ability to meet our specified limits, for example maximum panel size, smallest hole, thinnest track width, different metal and organic finishes.
The applicable standards are:
- BS EN 123 100 for single and double sided with non plated through holes
- BS EN 123 200 for single and double sided with plated through holes
- BS EN 123 300 for multilayer boards
